Lancelot de la Gesse secured silver in the Platina Cup at the 2026 Belgian Dressage Championships with Belgian rider Eline Borrey De Coninck.
Competing at Intermediate II level, the pair delivered a series of consistent performances throughout the championship weekend before producing one of their strongest tests in the Kür to Music final. Their harmonious freestyle presentation earned them the overall runner-up position despite challenging conditions and high temperatures.
“Through the intense heat of the past few days, he never stopped giving his best,” said Borrey De Coninck. “During the freestyle final, I truly felt that we were dancing together. Those moments, when everything comes together and you feel complete trust and partnership, are exactly why we do this sport.”
