NorCordia Partner Cecilia Bergåkra has made history by becoming the first Swedish rider ever to top the FEI U25 Dressage World Ranking.
Together with the 14-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare My Friend (by Friendship x Troll), Bergåkra climbed from third place to first on the FEI U25 World Ranking with 1,688 points, overtaking Dutch riders Robin Heiden and Lara van Nek.
The achievement follows an exceptional spring season for Bergåkra, which also included a bronze medal at the Swedish Senior Dressage Championships.
“I’m very proud of My Friend, my NorCordia Team, and everyone around us for being so consistent over such a long period of time. Thank you to everyone who supports us and all the people who cheer us on,” said Bergåkra.
The milestone is particularly special as Bergåkra has developed My Friend herself from a young horse to international Grand Prix level.
Since joining the NorCordia Team in Randbøl in September 2025, Bergåkra has combined her international sporting ambitions with the education and presentation of talented dressage horses within NorCordia’s sales programme.
