NorCordia partner Cecilia Bergåkra has been shortlisted for the Swedish dressage team for the 2026 FEI World Championships in Aachen together with her mare My Friend.
The selection follows an impressive performance last weekend at the CDIO4* in Hagen, where Cecilia made her senior Nations Cup debut for Sweden. Together with My Friend, she delivered two strong Grand Prix performances, helped Sweden finish fourth in the Nations Cup, achieved a new international Grand Prix personal best, and was the second highest-scoring Swedish combination across the competition.
The performances in Hagen earned Cecilia a place on the Swedish shortlist ahead of this weekend’s Nations Cup at Falsterbo Horse Show, where the final World Championship team will be selected.
Earlier this season, Cecilia became the first Swedish rider ever to top the FEI U25 Dressage World Ranking before turning her full focus to senior Grand Prix competition. Being shortlisted for the World Championships marks another important milestone in what has already been a remarkable season for the 25-year-old rider.
