Danish Olympian Daniel Bachmann Andersen has welcomed a new young horse into his barn, Farringhton, from NorCordia.
Farringhton is a 5-year old Hanoverian gelding by Furst Samarant out of Trakehner mare Pilain (by Rheinklang x Latimer). He is bred by Marion Sage and was owned by NorCordia.

Sourced by Casey Nilsson for NorCordia, Farringhton began his sport career in Denmark as a 4-year old.
He was first shown by Ida Kristine Bjørn in September 2023 and qualified him for the Danish Young Horse Championships, where he finished fourth under Cathrine Dufour after just a few days together. Anne Marie Hosbond, who collaborates closely with NorCordia at Randbøl Academy, then took over Farringhton. In their first competition together, they won the 5-year-old qualification at Vilhelmsborg, impressing judges with a score of 88.8%.

Farringhton has now moved into the stable of Daniel Bachmann Andersen after having been sold to a new owner.
“I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by renowned riders like Ida Bjørn, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, and most recently Anne Marie Hosbond,” said Daniel. “It’s a pleasure to take over a horse that has clearly received proper basic training and the time to develop. I am very excited to continue Farringhton’s education in close collaboration with the horse’s new owner.”
NorCordia also expressed enthusiasm about Daniel’s upcoming partnership with Farringhton.
